With new options coming in iOS 11 for multi-tasking and Drag and Drop, SignEasy has some great new options to make it easier for you to import and export your document from SignEasy and other apps, making your experience even smoother!

Using Drag and Drop to Import into SignEasy (iPad Only)

When using the multi-tasking option on your iPad in iOS 11, you can now drag and drop documents directly from other apps into SignEasy. To do so, simply open the source app (for example, DropBox or Mail) alongside SignEasy, tap and hold the document, then drag it to your document list in SignEasy. We'll import it for you, and you're all set to sign!

Note that this feature does not support multiple documents together, you'll need to drag the documents in individually when importing them.

This feature is available on iOS 11 when using an iPad.

Using Drag and Drop to Share your Signed Documents (iPad Only)

Along with new options to import your document, SignEasy will now let you share your signed documents using the Drag and Drop feature when multi-tasking.

  • Open SignEasy and select the signed document, then open the app you're sharing the document with (like Dropbox, Mail, etc.)

  • Drag the document to the 2nd app to seamlessly share it.

  • You can also swipe left on the document title to select it (a green checkmark will denote selected documents) and select multiples to share batches of completed documents

Note that you can only share signed documents this way, not originals or drafts

This feature is supported on iOS when using an iPad.

Using Drag and Drop to Add Text and Images

Not only can you import documents using the new Drag and Drop feature, but now you can place images and text from other apps onto your document from another app!

  • Open SignEasy and select a document to sign, then open the app you want to pull text/images from (like Safari or Mail) in multi-tasking mode

  • Select an image or text string, then drag it to your document in SignEasy to add it as an annotation. No need to retype your text anymore!

This feature is available for in-person signing, as well as signature requests. Note that if the signature request uses Document Fields, this feature only supports images/text fields. Currently, you won't be able to drag and drop signature fields, initials, or date fields.

This feature is available on iOS 11 when using an iPad.
